I have restored guns in my shop for over 20 years. If you would like to discuss your project then please call me between the hours of 10 AM and 7 PM eastern time. All restoration metalwork is done by hand with great care to preserve the piece. Lettering that can not be saved will be restored as needed. Damaged engraving will be repaired If you like. My Colt single action barrels are made in the pre-1910 black powder configuration. All lettering will be marked to match your firearms date of manufacture. Fitting of the barrel and ejector shroud to your gun is offered or you can purchase the barrel and have your gunsmith install it. All standard sizes and calibers are available or I can make a barrel in any size you want. I offer bluing in hot salt, rust and antique charcoal. If you like, it can be aged to look old. Case color is done using the same method as when the firearm was made. Please look at the picture gallery page and the Lettering page.
